Local Weather
Partly Sunny & Breezy, with a couple brief afternoon showers.
Moisture in the atmosphere may induce a few brief showers from time to time during the next couple of days, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Furthermore, a high pressure system will maintain breezy conditions into the beginning of the current week, while a small/weak tropical disturbance brings increasing shower conditions by Tuesday evening/early Wednesday over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands. Some of these showers may be heavy and can cause minor street-flooding in certain areas. Otherwise, sea conditions will become choppy to fairly rough, especially around showers. Therefore, mariners (small craft operators & beach-goers) should exercise caution when traveling through the surrounding & open waters.

  • Winds: are from the East-Northeast at 10 to 20 miles per hour, with occasional higher gusts (mainly near showers).
  • Seas: are moderate to fairly choppy with wave heights between 3 to 7 feet, with higher waves in and around showers.
