Almanac

2011:
311 days in, 54 days remaining

Hurricane Season:
160 days in, 24 days remaining

Today's Temps
High: 86/30C, feels like 96F/36C
Low: 78F/26C, feels like 84F/29C

Local Weather
Partly to Mostly Cloudy, with few passing showers & a possible thunderstorm or two.
Lingering moisture behind the tropical wave that passed near the local region yesterday will maintain somewhat cloudy conditions over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands for the next day or two. Expect a few passing showers from time to time and a slight chance for a thunderstorm or two. Minor street-flooding may also occur in certain areas. Additionally, seas are generally moderate with above-normal wave heights along the North shores. Therefore, small craft operators should proceed with caution when travelling through these waters and passages.

  • Winds: are from the East to Southeast at 5 to 12 miles per hour.
  • Seas: are gentle to moderate with wave heights between 2 to 5 feet, with the highest wave action along the Northern-facing shores.
Tropical Weather
Active Storms: None.
* A non-tropical system of low pressure located about 400mi SW of Bermuda has a medium (40%) chance of developing into a subtropical cyclone (depression or storm) within the next 48hours, as it moves slowly towards the West today then Northwest tomorrow.
This system does not pose a threat to the local region or the rest of the Caribbean.
* Elsewhere, no tropical development is expected during the next two days.

Special Weather
None.

Outlook for tomorrow
Partly to Mostly Cloudy with a couple passing showers.
