Fair weather is the dominant weather feature today and throughout the weekend. However, moisture in the atmosphere may cause periods of clouds and a few brief showers from time to time -- mainly during the afternoon to overnight hours. Additionally, moderate wind and sea conditions will remain throughout the SSS (St. Maarten-Saba-St. Eustatius) Islands and the Northeastern Caribbean. Boaters and beach-goers should still use caution as wave heights are forecast to increase by Sunday.
- Winds: are generally from the Northeast at 8 to 15 miles per hour, with occasional higher gusts.
- Seas: are moderate to fairly choppy with wave heights between 3 to 6 feet -- mainly along the Northern & Eastern shores.
