High: 86/30C, feels like 96F/36C
Low: 77F/25C, feels like 79F/26C

An area of disturbed weather located near the local region will induce chances for shower activity during the upcoming weekend. Mariners (especially small-boat operators) are advised to use caution in the surrounding waters. Additionally, most of the shower activity should subside by Sunday

Local Weather
Partly Sunny with a brief shower or two possible.
A generally drier weather pattern is forecast for the next couple of days across the SSS (and surrounding) Islands. However, lingering moisture behind this system may still cause brief cloud & shower activity throughout the Northeastern Caribbean. Additionally, above-normal waves and fairly rough conditions will persist at least until Thursday. Mariners (especially small-boat operators) are advised to use caution  in the surrounding waters, as a Small Craft Advisory has been issued.

  • Winds: are generally from the Northeast at 8 to 18 miles per hour, occasionally higher.

Daily Forecast: St. Maarten-St. Eustatius-Saba (SSS Islands)

2011:
340 days in, 25 days remaining

Today's Temps
High: 86/30C, feels like 95F/35CLow: 77F/25C, feels like 80F/27C

Local Weather
Partly Cloudy with a couple brief showers possible throughout the day.
Local weather conditions have improved since the area of disturbed weather moved off to the East of the region; however, lingering moisture behind this system may still cause cloud & shower activity over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands at least until Wednesday. Therefore, street-flooding is still a slight possibility as the land is still saturated. Additionally, sea conditions will gradually deteoriorate during the overnight to early morning hours, causing above-normal waves and fairly rough conditions. Mariners (especially small-boat operators) are advised to use caution  in the surrounding waters.

  • Winds: are generally from the Northeast at 5 to 12 miles per hour, occasionally higher.
  • Seas: are gentle to moderate with wave heights between 2 to 6 feet, becoming fairly rough by tonight/early Wednesday with wave heights up to 8 feet.

2011:
339 days in, 26 days remaining

Today's Temps
High: 85/29C, feels like 93F/34C
Low: 76F/24C, feels like 81F/27C

Local Weather
Partly to Mostly Cloudy with periodic showers throughout the day & chance of a PM thunderstorm.
As the area of disturbed weather makes its progress away from the Northeastern Caribbean, showers will gradually decrease over the next couple of days. Showers are, however, still likely to occur over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands as the system has not completely moved away as yet. Therefore, street-flooding is still a possibility and all are advised to travel along the roadways with caution. Additionally, sea conditions are moderate to somewhat choppy and boaters should exercise caution in the surrounding waters.

  • Winds: are generally from the Northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
  • Seas: are gentle to moderate with wave heights between 2 to 6 feet, with the highest wave action in the open waters.

LOW: 76F/24C, FEELS LIKE 81F/27C

Local Weather
Partly to Mostly Cloudy with showers throughout the day (some heavy) & thunder/lightning as well.
The area of disturbed weather continues to move across the Northeastern Caribbean, bringing periods of showers over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands. Otherwise, wind and sea conditions are expected to increase in and around showers -- mariners (boaters & beach-goers) are advised to use caution in the surrounding waters.
  • Winds: are from the Northeast to East at 5 to 15 miles per hour.
  • Seas: are moderate with wave heights between 3 to 6 feet.
