Local Weather
Partly cloudy & HOT, with a brief shower or two possible.
Lingering moisture behind the weak tropical wave that passed over the local region yesterday may produce a brief shower or two throughout the day over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands. However, an area of drier air will be moving into the area later today, therefore limiting the chance for shower activity during the next couple of days. Furthermore, a slight (warm) breeze with moderate sea conditions will continue for the remainder of the week.

  • Winds: are from the East at 5 to 12 miles per hour.
  • Seas: are moderate with wave heights between 3 to 5 feet, with the highest waves in the outer waters.

Tropical Weather
Active Storms: None.
The remaining names for this year's (Atlantic) Hurricane Season are: Rina, Sean, Tammy, Vince, Whitney.

Special Weather
None.

Outlook for tomorrow
Partly Sunny & HOT with minimal chance for a shower.
