A small, weak tropical disturbance will gradually move into the area during the next couple of days, bringing some shower activity to parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands. Some of these showers may be heavy and can cause minor street-flooding in certain areas. Otherwise, wind & sea conditions are presently moderate and are likely to increase in and around showers. Therefore, mariners (small craft operators & beach-goers) should exercise caution when traveling through the surrounding & open waters.

  • Winds: are generally from the East at 5 to 10 miles per hour, with occasional higher gusts (mainly near showers).
  • Seas: are moderate with wave heights between 2 to 5 feet, with higher waves in and around showers.
