Local Weather
Partly Cloudy with a possible shower or two, during the afternoon hours.
Expect a couple passing showers over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands today and tomorrow as an area of moisture moves through the local region. Otherwise, a system of high pressure that extends across the Northeastern Caribbean will maintain generally fair weather conditions for the remainder of the week. These showers are forecast to be heavier during the afternoon to overnight hours. Also, boaters & beach-goers should continue to use caution as a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect, due to the above-normal waves -- especially along the Northern shores.
  • Winds: are generally from the East at 8 to 18 miles per hour, with occasional higher gusts.
  • Seas: are moderate to fairly choppy with wave heights between 3 to 7 feet -- mainly along the Northern coastline & outer waters.

Tropical Weather
Active Storms: None.
* No tropical development is expected to form, at least for the next two days.
* The remaining names for the Hurricane Season are: Tammy, Vince, Whitney.

Special Weather
None.

Outlook for tomorrow
Partly Cloudy with a possible shower or two from time to time.

           Today's Sunset: 5:35pm
