313 days in, 52 days remaining

Hurricane Season:
162 days in, 22 days remaining

Today's Temps

Local Weather
Partly Sunny & HOT, with a possible afternooon shower or two.
As an area of drier air moves into the local region, expect a decreasing chance for shower activity over the next couple of days. However, daytime heating may combine with some lingering moisture in the atmosphere to produce a brief shower or two over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands from time to time. Otherwise, a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect due to above-normal waves along the Northern shores. Therefore mariners (small crafts & beach-goers) should continue to exercise caution when traveling through these waters and passages.

  • Winds: are from the East-Southeast at 5 to 12 miles per hour.
  • Seas: are moderate to fairly choppy with wave heights between 3 to 6 feet, with the highest wave action along the Northern-facing shores.

Tropical Weather
Active Storms: Tropical Storm Sean.
* Sean developed into a Tropical Storm yesterday and strengthened to winds of 50mph. TS Sean is located about 450mi SouthWest of Bermuda and is barely moving toward the West at 3mph. Little change in strength and forward speed is forecast for the next 24 hours or so, and Sean is expected to dissipate by the weekend.
This system does not pose a threat to the local region or the rest of the Caribbean.

Special Weather
None.

Outlook for tomorrow
Partly Sunny with a possible brief shower or two.
