Local Weather
Partly Cloudy & Windy with a brief shower possible.
As another cold front pushes down across the Northeastern Caribbean today, expect brief bouts of shower activity within the next 24 hours. However, as the system weakens and moves away from the local area tomrrow, windy conditions will spread across the SSS (and surrounding) Islands. These strong winds will remain at least until Thursday, therefore affecting sea conditions with above-normal wave heights. Mariners -- especially small craft operators -- should use extreme caution when traveling through the local and open waters.

  • Winds: are generally from the East-Northeast at 10 to 20 miles per hour, occasionally gusting up to 25mph.
  • Seas: are moderate to rough with wave heights between 3 to 8 feet -- with the highest waves over the Northern shores.
