Local Weather
Partly Cloudy & Very Windy with a brief shower or two possible.
Although the cold front that spreads across the Northeastern Caribbean has weakened somewhat, windy conditions will remain throughout the local region of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands at least until Thursday. Brief shower activity is also expected as this system moves away from the area. Otherwise, seas will remain rough with above-normal wave heights through late Thursday. Mariners -- especially small craft operators -- should use extreme caution when traveling through the local and open waters.
  • Winds: are generally from the East-Northeast at 10 to 20 miles per hour, occasionally gusting up to 30mph.
  • Seas: are moderate to rough with wave heights between 4 to 9 feet -- with the highest waves over the Northern shores.
