263 days in, 102 days remaining

Hurricane Season:
112 days in, 72 days remaining

Today's Temps

Local Weather
Mostly Cloudy & HOT, with a few brief showers and a slight risk of thunder, mainly during the afternoon to evening hours.
Lingering moisture in the atmosphere may still induce a few brief passing showers over parts of the SSS (and surrounding) Islands, mainly during the afternoon to evening hours. Some of these showers may be heavy and due to the already saturated soil conditions, minor street-flooding may still occur. Therefore residents (and visitors) should use caution in and around low-lying and flood-prone areas. Furthermore, wind and sea levels will remain moderate today, with a slight increase expected by tonight. Small-craft operators should however still use caution over the open waters.

  • Winds: are generally from the East at 5 to 15 miles per hour, with occasional higher gusts near showers.
  • Seas: are moderate with wave heights between 3 to 5 feet, with the highest wave action near showers and along the Eastern-facing shores.

Tropical Weather
Active Storms: None.
* A tropical wave located midway between Africa and the Lesser Antilles has become better organized and as of 8am this morning has a high (70%) chance of developing into a tropical depression later today or Wednesday. This slow-moving system is forecast to affect the Northeastern Caribbean as a possible tropical storm by late this week and into the weekend.
We will continue to monitor the progress of this system as it crosses the Atlantic Ocean.

Special Weather
None.

Outlook for tomorrow
